Rugby Union World Cup 2015 Highlights & Tries France v Italy 19 September 2015

Rugby World Cup 2015

Game of Rugby World Cup 2015. In this match France national rugby union team play with Italy national rugby union team.

France made an impressive start to their Rugby World Cup 2015 campaign as they controlled a physical Pool D contest against Italy at Twickenham.  Frederic Michalak kicked 19 of France's points as he moved to within three points of breaking Thierry Lacroix's French record of 124 at Rugby World Cups.  Michalak's boot was also instrumental in France's first try, with the fly-half's smart grubber pounced on by prop Rabah Slimani, who crossed the line for his first international try on 44 minutes.  Italy refused to cave in and they reduced the deficit when Giovanbattista Venditti raced over at the far right touchline, but Nicolas Mas then bundled over to secure the win for France.

RWC2015-1.
